Yep, it's NanoCon time again! I decided a change of venue was in order... so NanoCon has moved from the Miami Beach Convention Center to the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center. Dick Clark passed away while the previous storyline was going on, so this is my belated little tribute to him. I wasn't much into Bandstand, but I did watch some of the New Year's Rockin' Eves (even though it ended just before New Years Central Time) and quite a few $25,000 Pyramids. I'll have to think of something Beastie Boys-ish later for the loss of Adam "MCA" Yauch, a death that more hits home for me. The Beasties were one of my favorite groups growing up, and I bought almost all of their albums.

And in case you were wondering... yes, Cassie was 16 when she went off to college. But she DID go up to the University of Oklahoma for her freshman year, and in that state, the age of consent is 16. So she was in the clear where sex was concerned.
