Times Like This RSS http://www.timeslikethis.com If Historical Figures Did TV Commercials #10 http://www.timeslikethis.com/index.php?id=528 Those "Wonderful Pistachios" ads are pretty cool... so I decided to contribute one of my own, featuring Nikola Tesla and his Tesla Coil. (Coincidentally, I was munching on some of their pistachios while finishing this.)

Extremely Small Soldiers http://www.timeslikethis.com/index.php?id=527 Yep, it's NanoCon time again! I decided a change of venue was in order... so NanoCon has moved from the Miami Beach Convention Center to the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center. (Which means it would be closer to a certain webcomicking friend...) Also: Check out this guest comic I did for Girls With Slingshots!

Everybody's Learning How http://www.timeslikethis.com/index.php?id=526 This strip's a little "thank you" to Joseph Houk, who's done a lot involving this comic, the latest being transcribing all my TLT comics on a Scribd page, as well as starting TLT's TV Tropes page. Here I've included his "Johnny Surf" cartoon character in a "Gumpification" involving Brian Wilson. Thanks again, dude!

Cassie's Bucket List #20 http://www.timeslikethis.com/index.php?id=525 Dick Clark passed away while the previous storyline was going on, so this is my belated little tribute to him. I wasn't much into Bandstand, but I did watch some of the New Year's Rockin' Eves (even though it ended just before New Years Central Time) and quite a few $25,000 Pyramids. I'll have to think of something Beastie Boys-ish later for the loss of Adam "MCA" Yauch, a death that more hits home for me. The Beasties were one of my favorite groups growing up, and I bought almost all of their albums.

Behind The Necklace - Part 19 http://www.timeslikethis.com/index.php?id=523 For those of you unfamiliar with Philip's online username (or you were but didn't get the hint), he was born in 1978. This strip is like one of those sitcom "flashback episodes" with scenes from older shows, isn't it?

Behind The Necklace - Part 18 http://www.timeslikethis.com/index.php?id=522 This here would be Cassie's first "Gumpification", also referred to on TvTropes.org as simply "The Gump". Oh yeah, did I mention that TLT has

Behind The Necklace - Part 17 http://www.timeslikethis.com/index.php?id=521 And in case you were wondering... yes, Cassie was 16 when she went off to college. But she DID go up to the University of Oklahoma for her freshman year, and in that state, the age of consent is 16. So she was in the clear where sex was concerned.

Behind The Necklace - Part 16 http://www.timeslikethis.com/index.php?id=520 I'm hoping the health care political crap is nice and settled by 2205, so Cassie can get her instant diagnosis and prescription for a low price.

Behind The Necklace - Part 15 http://www.timeslikethis.com/index.php?id=519 It MIGHT be possible for a man-made island to show up off the coast of Brooklyn in the next couple of centuries. (Not to mention it might be possible that a certain online artificial-intelligence entity would start out as an informational system for the Big Apple. Paging Dr. Hogan...)
